Speech Pathology
Speech pathologists study, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, including difficulties with speech, language, fluency and voice. They work with children and adults who have difficulty communicating as a result of developmental delays, disabilities or acquired brain injury.
At Mitchell Integrated Therapy we offer speech pathology services across the life span in the following areas:
- Expressive and receptive language including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
- Speech clarity
- Social skills
- Fluency (stuttering)
- Literacy (reading, writing and written expression)
