Our Occupational Therapists conduct comprehensive NDIS functional capacity assessments when requested by a coordinator of supports, participant, family member or local area coordinator. These assessments are utilised by the NDIS to determine the level of future supports funded in a participants NDIS plan to enable them to achieve their goals.

Assessments include a face-to-face consultation, completion of standardised and non-standardised assessments, communication with involved parties (when required) and a report that is provided to the participant and the NDIA. The process will assist with decisions made regarding the type and level of funding and supports. Our occupational therapists are also able to provide assessments to assist individuals with their application for supported independent living (SIL) accommodation.
